It is a common misconception that all business negotiations should take place to reduce the price that is being paid for the product or service in question. Well, there are some products and services where there is no scope for negotiation. How can you negotiate with a bespoke tailor? How to reduce the service charges? To request or beg is going to seem cheap. Why should the tailor make an exception for you? Chances are high that the tailor will tell you to take your business elsewhere.

After all, negotiation is not about begging for better deals. It is about creating a situation where the other party realizes that you have understood that the existing deal is not as good as it is made out to be. So, how can you negotiate with somebody who stitches your clothes? Well, why do not you ask for faster service? If time is of importance, then the fact that you are going to receive your clothes faster is automatically going to help you extract more value out of the deal.

Or, you can ask the tailor to make minor cloth accessories like handkerchiefs or a small cloth purse out of the waste cut out from the cloth. You can just request the individual to help you enjoy a better deal value for the money you pay. When you pose such a request, you will be putting the other party in a very difficult position. Reducing the price may not be something that he or she would be interested in. However, creating a handkerchief out of the extra cloth that has been cut off is not an impossible task.

You can easily save a lot of money in the process if you get this service without paying anything extra. Do this three or four times and you will have enough handkerchiefs to manage without spending any thing on the same.

I don’t tend to talk much about what I do in real-life here. Your blog, as we all know, is a magical land over the internet rainbow where you can be… whoever you want to be.

Maybe you work in a shoe shop- but you love west highland terriers most of all in life. Write a blog about them and you could soon become queen of the small scottish dog blog-world.

Perhaps you’re a high flying lawyer with a passion for heavy metal and thrash music. Write a blog about it. Let yourself live your passion, even if it’s only in the evening.

You might be a professional cellist with more shoes than Imelda Marcos. I can’t repeat myself enough. Write a blog about those shoes. About all shoes. Write about what you love. Soon you’ll have a group of followers, supporters and fellow bloggers who share your interests and who could write about it all day.

Now for the dramatic confession: I work in payroll software development. There, I said it! And yes, it is as dull as it sounds. I am, despite the name of this blog, not an astronaut, an astronomer or a scientist specialising in moon rocks. But that didn’t stop me creating a blog that was about things that interested me rather than one about payroll software, computer glitches or office life. Though of course, that shouldn’t stop you writing a blog about any one of those things if that is what you love. I truly believe that having some time to yourself, writing about something you adore can only improve your life for the better. Naturally with a degree in programming (and a happy blog-life!) I am biased towards blogging, but if you feel a little shy about sharing your writing in a public forum there are more traditional ways.

Keeping a diary is the obvious route, but have you thought about just writing for the joy of it? Buy a cheap exercise book and start writing just a bit every day. Before you know it you’ll be ready for a blog!

I’ve always enjoyed a good game show. I was a huge fan of 3-2-1 with Ted Rogers, and even had my own toy Dusty Bin, while the Generation Game was required viewing in my house on a Saturday night, even if it had the air of a fading beauty the second time around…

These days, it seems TV execs have decided that a game show featuring the man on the street just won’t appeal. So instead we have to sit through abominations (usually made by ITV) like Family Fortunes, featuring the families of bit-part actors who once had a line on Emmerdale or an athlete who didn’t qualify for a major competition and has some time on their hands.

The only celeb-based game show that I will admit to enjoying is another Vernon Kay vehicle, Beat the Star. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do exactly what it says on the tin or PVC banners and allows contestants to give annoying famous people a kicking, but it does provide the opportunity for some very cocky and arrogant celebrities, often sportsman, to get put in their place and frequently made to look pretty stupid. The two participants carry out a series of mental and physical tasks, from playing football with cars to banging nails into a piece of wood. What next? Laser hair removal and mini manicures? It would make about as much sense…

Speaking of our Vern, has he got naked pictures of the ITV boss at home? If not, I don’t know how he keeps getting all these prime time gigs! He’s a pleasant enough chap, but not a patch on the presenters of old and he’s probably not even the most talented TV presenter in his house. Though I’ve always had a bit of a crush on Tess, so maybe I’m a bit biased.

I got a look recently at Audi’s A7 for 2012 and I must say I was very impressed. If I had the money I would certainly get me one of them.

The new 2012 Audi A7 Sportback is a roomy hatchback that defies the “ugly hatchback” stereotype by being proudly gorgeous. It is sleek with smooth, crisp lines reminiscent of vintage European sports cars. It is the kind of car you want to be seen in and which you can drive anywhere from the market to the ballgame, and even to do a paternity test

Driving the A7 is a delight. The ride is comfortable and smooth, and this smoothness is in part thanks to the large wheelbase. The A7 can show off its smoothness even when rounding tough corners, as it will boast, standard, Audi’s proprietary Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

Under the sleek hood is a powerful 300-horsepower engine that can get to 62 mph in 5.6 seconds. Automatic transmission handles beautifully, and underscores the “sport” in the A7 Sportback.

The A7’s interior matches the rest of the car in its sleek luxury. The controls are clear and easy to operate. The cabin is exceedingly well-appointed with options such as aluminum and oak trim.

The A7 is also equipped with the latest technology, like a touch pad navigation system with handwriting recognition. Technology also enhances the car’s safety, with assistance systems such as a radar sensor system that detects slow or stopped vehicles ahead, and monitors blind spots. Cruise control, lane keeping, and power steering are also all aided by technology. The Audi is a stunning mix of luxury, performance and safety and will start at $50,000.

A good friend of mine recently told me he got a Mexican tattoo and ever since then I have been meeting other people who have Mexican tattoos. So I wondered what was the reason for this sudden popularity in Mexican tattoos.

Mexican tattoos have become immensely popular among not only Mexicans and those who love Mexico but other who just love the designs and their meanings. This country has a past steeped in culture, and the Mexican tattoos show how these people feel about it. Most of the tattoos revolve around the cultural and patriotic symbols, and the people who proudly show them off. Many of these tattoos are so well done by the artist that almost looks as good as any artwork done for cd printing

Aztec tattoos feature prominently among the Mexican tattoos to be seen. Symbols associated with Aztec civilization, like the images of gods and goddesses, weapons, tools, artwork, etc are the most common Aztec tattoos. Among the weapons, the most prominent one is a dagger which was used for human sacrifice in those days.

A popular way of showing off one’s love for the country is to add the names of one’s family and name of the town in a tattoo of Mexican map.

Mexico being a catholic country, there are many tattoos with religious significance like the one of ‘Lady of Guadalupe'– Virgin Mary in a pool of light. Tattoos of the cross, Christ and the sacred heart are also common.

Besides these there are skull tattoos, gang tattoos and tattoos of phrases in Mexican language also. These are imprinted independently or mixed with other tattoos.

Stop where you are. I know for a fact that after reading that title, more than a few of you will have your fingers poised above the BACK button. But don’t, please, I promise you I am not just another crack-pot conspiracy-theorist!

Thing is, I’m not even the sort of person who believes in these kind of conspiracies, but in this case I have to hold my hands up and say I just don’t know what to think. For the following reasons, I believe there is a chance that man never went to the Moon:

1) If you look back to when people first started travelling into Space, there were a lot of accidents. For about a decade, astronauts couldn’t leave the first few metres above the ground without their ship blowing up. So how, then, did they get all the way to the Moon?

2) There is a lot of compelling evidence to suggest that it could have been staged. And how would we have been any the wiser? Answer: we wouldn’t.

3) No matter whether you love sport and own a pair of Garmin Forerunner 610 or whether you like movies, everyone knows that the political climate back when the Space Race started was fraught with tension. More than getting to the Moon it was a battle of wills. For this reason, I think we need to consider that there’s every chance it was all one big staged event!

4) Not to mention the evidence, such as the flags floating in the non-existent wind and the dodgy shadows. And don’t even get me started on Stanley Kubrick…

Similar Posts:
Things You Can Do Other Than Drink : I have been on antibiotics…
The Future? : I’m in business, am well up with the latest…
Character Ideas For Your Writing… : Stuck with your mystery…

I remember being a kid, in the back of the car, while my parents drove us down to the seaside for the weekend. It wasn’t some exotic country, and there probably wouldn’t be much sun either – even though it was the summer – but I didn’t care. It was going to be a wonderful time. If it rained we’d build sand castles until they fell apart, and once it had cleared up we’d have a little disposable BBQ out and cook sausages and beef burgers until it got dark. Oh, I miss those days. Back then, with our kebabs in bread around the fire as the sun set, we really appreciated our holiday.

Now, however, it’s a very different thing. If I wanted to I could go absolutely anywhere in Europe tomorrow for practically nothing. I could be back in a three days for work and have had a stonking holiday.

Only there’s a problem. Well, maybe not a problem, but a gripe, at least.

It’s just outstanding and that’s all there is to it. And besides that, you can’t beat a bit of English sea and air. It may not be the South of France, but you know what my friend? I’m not sure I need it.

I was searching for an appropriate payroll software recent when one of my coworker asked me if I played the stock market or was an investor in it. I replied in the positive and he asked me if I knew how to identify the best dividend stock. I gave him my somewhat professional advice.

Though unpredictable, stock dividends can always be counted as a steady source of income, if you invest wisely in the stocks. Dividends come from the total profit a company makes in a year, so if you own the stocks of a company that belongs to a sector which is not affected by the ups and downs of the market, this will bring you a neat packet of dividends every year.

The best dividend paying stocks come from those sectors that are constantly in great demand by the general public, irrespective of the trends in the market. And these sectors are banking and finance, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and information technology. All these sectors need to serve the people all round the year, and consequently their share value remains in the top always.

Still, it is possible to incur a loss if you invest without being thorough about the fundamentals of the company. You need to familiarize yourself with their history of paying dividends, and closely watch their announcements regarding dividend policies.

There are some companies in all sectors that have consistently done well, and they are expected to repeat that performance this year too. These companies are, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo in the banking sector, Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s in the sector of consumer products, Pfizer, Merck and Bristol-Meyers Squibb in the division of pharmaceuticals and AT&T, Verizon and Frontier communications in the field of telecom. </S

After watching a marathon of James Bond films last night, I awoke this morning panicked and thinking Who can I trust? In those few brief moments I was sure I was being chased by a villain with a pistol, and as I came to, I realized it was only half as bad as I’d first thought. Also, I realized that there was no hot woman in my bed. Which was, quite frankly, more upsetting.

I’m getting at the internet as the other half that was as bad as I thought, of course: because nowadays you can say or write something to someone, only for that information to fall into the wrong hands. And this isn’t even taking into account technology. Only today I came across a BBC story that said that the ipad tracks your ever move, and makes this information available to Apple. It also said that Apple haven’t been accessing this information, but to be honest that didn’t really come as much of a comforter: the fact is that it is possible, and they can do it, so why wouldn’t they? Surely it’s a matter of time, right?

And then there’s surfing the web. Whether you’re looking at a Plumbers London web-site or something you shouldn’t be, it’s hard to put your trust fully in anyone these days. Because according to a recent news story I read, privacy online is not considered the same as privacy offline anymore. And with that kind of a statement, who knows what’s next?

Last year I was invited to use the Villa Rentals program to spend my two weeks vacation. I was a little leary because I only get a small amount of holiday time and I wanted this to be a special trip with my elderly mother.

Villa Rentals at first seemed out of my price range. I am on a budget and I needed to be careful where I spent my money. Villa Rentals offered me a deal that I could not refuse. Not sure I could have found that package anywhere else. After searching on the internet for several days, I was confident that no one else could match that price.

Because my mother is older and in poor health it was important to me to be in a clean environment where she could relax and have some quiet time on her own. When I showed her the list of amenities, she was more then pleased.

We arrived to find that Villa Rentals had our acomodations all set up and ready for us to begin our holiday adventure. Both my mother and I were excited. We settled in and began enjoying the visit immediately.

Because the weather was bad the first few days we were concerned that we would not be able to see and do all the activities we had planned.

Villa Rentals helped us rearrange our plans and we were able to do all the touristy things we had on our planner.

When we returned home, my mother commented that because of Villa Rentals our trip was one she would always remember.

She passed away that next fall and I will be forever grateful that she and I were able to spend that special time together.

Thank you Villa Rentals.
